Healing the land, Healing ourselves..

The Farmacy DOCUSERIES is a timely, character-led IMPACT PROJECT EXAMINING one of the most urgent challenges of our time:

Can changing the way we relate to the land transform how we grow food, live, and build a healthier future?

Across six episodes, Dusty and Nell Elsom embark on parallel journeys investigating a compelling question: can regenerative philosophy fundamentally transform the way we grow food, design our communities and care for the places we live?

While Dusty travels Australia meeting farmers, scientists, Traditional Custodians, health experts, educators, policymakers and food systems leaders, Nell investigates how the same principles can reshape backyards, schools, neighbourhoods and public spaces.

Together, they explore whether reconnecting people with nature through regenerative thinking could improve human and environmental wellbeing while helping transform Australia’s food system into one that is healthier, fairer and more resilient.

With Steph Vajda from Article One at the helm, the documentary will be crafted with a rich, cinematic visual language that brings the beauty, complexity and humanity of the story to life.

While its subject may be rooted in farming, food and place, its appeal is universal. Everyone eats. Everyone lives somewhere. And everyone has a connection to the land, whether they realise it or not.

Our ambition is to create a beautifully crafted, deeply human docuseries that feels both cinematic and familiar - inviting audiences into worlds they may not know, while revealing the connections that make them part of the story. Uplifting and thought-provoking, while remaining relatable and positive, the series will leave audiences with a renewed sense of curiosity, connection and inspiration.

PRODUCTIONS

Alongside the TV production, we will be partnering up with policy makers and embarking on a technical investigation and expository journey into being part of real, impactful change.

Through inspiring stories from farmers, First Nations knowledge holders, researchers, health professionals and everyday changemakers, The Farmacy reveals that regeneration isn’t just about farming. It’s a way of thinking that can shape how we live, care for our environment and support one another.

Together with our partners, we’re connecting people, sharing ideas and inspiring practical action to grow a movement that restores our relationship with the natural world — and with each other.

If you are interested in being part of these projects and/or offering funding opportunities or other support, please feel free to contact us and let us know how you would like to be involved and we would be happy to arrange a meeting to discuss.
